Midland High School Drama Presents: The Fiddler on the Roof

The familiar story of Tevye and his family has been an iconic part of
American theatre since its musical debut in 1964. Tevye lives in the small village of
Anatevka, with his wife and five daughters, juggling traditions and outside influences
until an edict from the tsar sends his community from their homes. Filled with beloved
and unforgettable characters, such as Yente the matchmaker, larger-than-life ghosts,
shy tailors, and Tevye himself, this story is about community, humanity, identity, and
saying goodbye through laughter and tears.
